who we are

The Servanthood Project was created by a 13 year veteran of Youth Ministry who was tired of promoting events that were heavy on personal amusement and light on personal growth.

There is a misconception in many youth ministry events that unless the students are doing something fun (like roller coasters, paintball, skiing, etc) - they won't come. The Servanthood Project challenges that concept and proves that true life (and fun) is found when you give your life away, in service to others.

The week is divided up into two sections each day with each section providing your students an opportunity to serve.

  • Section 1 (9am to noon)

  • Section 2 (1pm to 4pm)

Students will serve one of these projects (click HERE) during Section 1 and switch to another project for Section 2.   Typically we find that students are in their comfort zone for one of the projects and out of their comfort zone for the other.  (Click HERE to see the weekly schedule).

The Servanthood Project connects churches in a local area and builds a kingdom-camaraderie that is hard to find anywhere else.

Not only do the students WANT to come to the Servanthood Project, repeatedly we hear the same responses after the week is over:

  • "Best week of my life."

  • "This was way better than any other conference I've ever been to"

  • "I had so much fun at Servanthood!   I loved helping others all week!"
